    Palliative Care and Hospice Care

What Are Palliative Care and Hospice Care?

Per surveys, many families wished their loved one would have started Hospice care earlier. A Yale study suggested starting hospice earlier. Studies have found patients enrolled in Hospice could live up to 29 days longer. Hospice can be started when a doctor predicts a life expectancy of 6 months or less.

Please talk to your medical provider sooner than later if you think you might benefit from palliative or hospice care.
